Some new Diamond Y pictures

Monday afternoon, our herd was running and playing and I was able to get a few shots that I thought I'd share:

DY Hancock Can Cooke, aka Candy, before playtime:

And they're off . . . Candy and her dam, Can Can Hancock, aka Foxy:

Racing up the pond levee:

DY Half Moon Cooke, aka Luna, and her dam, Half Moon Wolf, racing out the gate:

All that running makes me thirsty:

And they're off again!

I think maybe Gustav had them all stirred up. They all ran around like crazy for a while. It had cooled off and I think they just felt good.

I'm telling you Leona.. if we had the room, we would have brought all of those babies back home with us.. They are such sweethearts, so well built, and BIG

Leo should stamped them with some size to them..

Not a pony in the bunch!

We are just exceptionally pleased with all of them. I'm going to try to get more pictures of Suzie and Ace this afternoon.

Ace would really make someone a nice reining prospect - his dam sure has it in spades.

Ace is the one I really wanted.. he is going to be incredible under saddle.. gorgeous head, build for reining.. just an exceptional colt.. plus, he is more my size.. A couple of those others are going to be four-steppers mounting block wise..

Ah, to be 10 years younger and be able to ride like I used to..

DY can I just come live with you? You have to many beautiful horses to bring them all home with me, so I think it'd just be easier to bring me to them.

It's so much fun to watch when they tear off like that! It goes without saying, they are a beautiful bunch! A testament to your breeding program. Nicely done.

Yes, we have 25 steers. They are going to market in the next couple of weeks.
