You know, I could kind of tell that he was getting thicker in his chest area, but you can really see the difference in the first pic. His chest and shoulder area are getting BIG, but he's still got some catching up to do in his hindquarter area.

Now, no one laugh at me, cuz I'm still new to these "bulky" quarter horses, but his chest muscles (the boobie muscle area) really sticks out (hard to tell in the pics) and they move when he walks.... I actually had to have brad check him over because I thought he was "swollen" there and had been kicked or something

Wait until he is about 5 or 6.. that is when I think this one will really be done growing..

I still like him a lot Cascy... you did right when you bought him..

You know gbar, I think you are probably right! His original breeder said that all his brothers and sisters keep the "baby" look until their 5-6 year then the blossomed... We'll see

Ok, Now I have to brag on him too a little because he's been so level headed and done so well.

With all the rain we have had, ridding was out so we've worked on trailer loading. Now keep in mind he has only been hauled probably 4 times his whole life.

10 mins on working with him, and he will now walk in a trailer by his self ( you just cluck and point, no need to go in first). Then tell him whoa. and he'll stop, until you tell him to back "easy" and he will very carefully back up and out on him own (even though he has room to trun around inside)

He gives me his "try" and that's all I'll ask for

I think it's because the human IETP (IDIOTS for ETHICAL TREATMENT of PEOPLE) decided that roundpenning men with whips was inhumane
