Justice Under Saddle

Went out today and was playing with Justice and decided he was finally ready for his saddle work to begin.
Well, he really was ready about 9 years ago as he's 13 years old now, but better late than never!
I've had him just about a year now. He's done a 100% turn around.

And he was awesome!
A exact Black Beauty moment... I tightened the cinch and he turned around to look at it like "What are you doing that for?" lol
Took all in great stride! I thought he'd freak out a bit, but not at all.

Sorry for the crappy pictures, though. I had to run away from to get them and eventually he started to trot after me, so after he trotted for a bit with the saddle, I just let him be. lol

He is such a handsome boy! And what a good horse to take everthing so well.

Good luck with him! He looks like he's be stunning shown under saddle in some western classes.

Thanks!
Pictures just don't do him justice (no pun intended! lol) though.

I think he'd a stunner in WP. He's actually up for sale right now, but if he trains that easy I may just keep him around and sell him next summer after I show him a bit.

He worked like a pro!
Everybody tells me to cut him and sell him as broke gelding, but why can't I sell him as broke stallion?
I'm not sure I have it in me to take away his jewels... not a horse like him.

He's beautiful! Congrats on getting him saddled! I still haven't gotten on my 3 yr old yet. Guess I'm going to put it off until she's 13 too . By the time they are that age they've mellowed so much it's a lot easier. Great pics!

Thank you!
You're right... they are much more comfortable with themselves the older they get!
I've got a a three and a half year old to start, a four year old, a six year old to, and my other four year old stud, who's started but not finished.
Much work ahead of me yet! LOL
