Meet Madonna!

This is our purebred unregistered 16.1 HH TB mare. Madonna. We have had her for 7 yrs, she is now 10. My hubby is on her in this picture.
I don't post many pics because I am stuck on dial up.

Thanks all, she has had her difficult moments and her breeder named her well.

But she is the most affectionate mare I have ever owned, followed closely by our 3 yr old Appendix, Sky(in my Avatar) who is closely related to her on her Thoroughbred side.

prancingpony~ I can't get my hubby in a western saddle, he hates them. Good thing we don't own one.

I love that shade of bay (well that shade and darker!), and her facial markings! Our mares are nothing alike, but I thought it was cute that they have socks on all of the same 3 legs, although Cheyanne's are much higher

How nice that your hubby rides

Well they are alike because they are both ALBERTA GIRLS with socks!

We do ride together and now we have 3 ridable horses. I am usually giving hubby a lesson when he's up on one of the mares because he is still learning.

I'd forgotten that he was still in the lessons/learning stage, you'd never suspect that from his serious gear - I only wish I could get mine to wear a helmet at least

. I find it very hard to teach him though, maybe it's because he has such a hard head

Ahh there is my Donna! She is such a sweet mare!! She just follows you around giving you lovies and is such a show off when she wants to be! I just love that picture of her.
