Shalinda jumping!!

Yay!! Shalinda is sound again and seems happy to be back into riding! Her hock clicking seems to have disappeared *knock on wood* and her wound on her front leg is also better. I've been riding her lightly on the flat for a few weeks, but just got back into jumping this week. I started out over little stuff (2' - 2'3") and we're working our way back up to 3'+

Today we did a small course (I have only 4 jumps

) at 2'11" (yes, not a normal height but my jumps are homemade). She was amazing! Super happy to be back! We're hopefully headed back to the jumper ring this fall, so this is great!

She took a long here, we did 3 strides in an easy 4 stride line

I didn't know she hurt her leg...looks like she is well on her way to 100% again though.

Looking good! My oldest granddaughter loves jumping-she misses the little mare she was jumping at lessons when they lived with me.

CGS - she had a cut over (but not into) her left tendon, not major but it must have been somewhat painful as she was off for a little while. She had an odd "clicking" in her hock, but it never actually caused her any discomfort, and it seems to be gone.

She seems to be enjoying herself again, and I think we'll make a pretty decent team at the schooling shows this fall and maybe the Trillium shows next summer!

I love the 3rd picture, lovely equitation and nice release!
I know you probably already know this...but in the 1st pic... I would try releasing a little bit more
