Baby Haflinger Pics...........lots of pics.....new pics added Page 2

OK, thise of you who know Fancy's story, just scroll on down until you get to the new piccies

So for those who don't know, I had a long hunt for my Haflinger, when I eventually settled on one I'd seen way back in November it was to find that she was so near foaling, we had to wait until she delivered before bringing her home.

So we had a long distance foal watch and last Thursday Fancy delivered a beautiful colt foal, who will be called Alsvid.

I got some more pics in the evening, and found out that the poor little lad had quite bendy back legs

Now today we have some updated pictures, they were actually taken on Sunday, but poor Carol fell over and broke her camera on her way in from taking the pics. Fortunately they managed to get the card out and retrive my pics, and Carol was OK.

His legs aren't perfect, but they are getting better. It looks to me like he's getting himself an attitude as well, anyone else think that this little boy looks like he could be a handful?

I've been waiting to meet Fancy for months, so that will be great. I was hoping that we would be lucky enough to have a filly, so it took me a couple of days to get used to the idea of a colt. Now I'm totally in love with him, and can't wait to get hold of him

He is beautiful as is his mommy. As I scrolled through the photos, that is exactly what I was thinking - he's a fiesty one.

I see he's from the A line. Who is his sire, grandsire? My Haffie, Ahliver, is also from the A line. His sire is Astro and grandsire is Ahliver.
