I went camera happy!

Ok, I blew a roll of film the other day...here are the results!

First off, the new filly, Sweettart. Thank goodness she's sweeter than her mama. Mama won't let us catch her, but baby is a doll.

Here is Sierra getting in the pond. Almost every time you go out to the pasture he's either just been in, is still in, or is coming out!

Another pond picture

Here's some pics of Emily (little sis) on Dandy.

Another mama and baby.

Diesel getting a bath!

And last, but not least, me riding Duke!!! (Anybody notice I'm bareback? lol)

And just Duke.

Now I need to pop over to Photo Contests and see if these fit in any of the categories!

wow all of your horses are beautiful. Sweettart is such a doll! She reminds me of my filly Tru. I need to get some pictures of my other horses on here. I can't get my horses to cross a creek...so its cool that Sierra loves the water.

Aww... those babies are so cute! My roping mare "Chy" (new filly's mom) is like Siera, she loves to hang out in the pond, but if she sees you looking her way, with a sadddle in hand, she'll race to the pond go about knee deep and lay in the mud, then come trotting back like she didn't do anything. Gotta love her.

I like duke. He just has that look on his face. Great pictures. I go camera happy sometimes too.

The pictures were awesome. Your horses are gorgeous, I love the little baby, and the one of Sierra in the water. I also chuckled a little to myself when looking at the pictures because you and I have the same haircut!. It is nice to find another female who thinks enough of herself not to care how long her hair is. Keep taking the great pictures!

Actually, her hair is quite long. But it's so hot in the summer here she usually pulls it up in a ponytail or a bun. I just cut my hair last week cuz of the heat! I too kept it in a bun or up in a hair clip, and my husband said "What's the point of having long hair if its put up all the time?" Anybody else notice this?

Foxtrotter,
No, it is NEVER a dull moment....but I like it that way. I want to be able to say at the end that I lived my life to the fullest. TxHorseDad says that his life definately has not been boring since he married me!

Toveromom,
They both left Mounted after we moved. It was just too far to have to haul a horse 5-6 days a week with the gas $$. Also, the people were being real pain in the a**es, they would schedule them on different days, or different shifts so that they would have to take 2 trailers daily.
