Beam's Frosty Morning

Hi fellow horse lovers! This is my 9 yr. old Morab/appy gelding. Frosty is a real sweet heart, very willing to play with our young daughter, and then settle down to work [riding].

Stocky! Very pretty horse...reminds me of my ex's horse...she was a tank also same breeding and color. Was a great mountian horse. What do you use him for?

Hi every one, thanks very much for the compliments to my li'l guy!! Frosty is 14.1 hands. Mom, is 15.1 appaloosa/quarter and a powerhouse! [tank?] Frostys sire is deceased 6 years ago. He made 14 hands, and was a Beautiful reg. Morab, dark bay in color. Frosty was born a solid bay, and colored up [Appyed/roaned] by four yrs old. He also seems to be getting more grey with age , as I think some roans do.
I'll search my archives for some baby pics, and color changes. Thanks for allowing the ramble, Have a Great Day!

Hi again,
well, I found a few archived, scanned and kind of blurry pics. They show a few changes in my young man lol

This is Frosty when he was three weeks old. Big Tawny in the back.

This is my second ride on Frosty. He was soo good! I didnt rein him much, just let him meander around, and then ended on a good note!

This is my husband, holding Frosty for me to get this pic Frosty was pretty much roaning out at this point. [four yrs old in this pic,and the next few years, he got progressively greyer.

Welcome to the forum from another Albertan! What part of the province are you from?

Your boy is very cute, and I can't believe how well of a matched pair he and his dam ended up making ! That's very neat !

hi AlbertaGirl,
We live north of Edmonton a ways. We mostly trail ride with our two, or just Love on them Also , we do our own trims.
You're right, apart from Frosty being a hand shorter, and a bit more silver, the two of them make a fine pair! Thanks for the compliments

What a cute dude!!
I also breed Morabs/Arabians, so if you're looking for a Morab for a buddy for him, let me know.
I'm about an hour and a half north of Edmonton (sort of by Athabasca). Are you near there?
