Your horses favorite people food?

What is your horses favorite people food?

The last few times I have gone out to see Rocket, I have forgotten to bring out apples or carrots! I have had to suffice with what I grab at 7-11 on my way there, and Rocket is more then happy to share. I only give him 1 or 2 chips, but that just makes him love them all the more.

He hears the bag crunch and he gets all excited. He'll chase down plastic shopping bags (you know the evil horse eating ones!) to investigate and see if by chance there are any chips in there.

His favorites so far seem to be...

blue otter pops
cool ranch doritos (he won't touch the regular ones though!)
and of course cheetos. He looks so cute with cheeto dust all over his nose.

What do your ponies go nutso over?

Peanut Butter crunchy granola bars, the Nature Valley ones. She goes nuts over them! And I won't eat them I think they are gross so she has her own box, I like the Oats and Honey kind .

I hate crunchy granola bars and I bought these on accident. So, I fed the whole box to the horse. He seemed to enjoy them.

A horse I had named Dude would filch my orange popsicles whenever he could reach them.

He liked Labatts Blue (beer) as well.

All of my daughter's horses go nuts over Mt. Dew...her fault, she's always shared, but they will steal her bottles, and Rolo can unscrew the lids with her lips...

Soft peppermint candies, the kind that are indiviually wrapped...

Cantelope and honeydew melons, still on the vine (not always ripe, either)...

Well my mares like anything edible but I recently purchased sugar cubes for them & they love them. Celista also loves bananas (peelings & all)

HAHA!!! I love that all of these horses love to explore the world of treats! My gelding will eat just about anything. But his most favorite treat and when I say favorite I mean he comes RUNNING for.......TORTILLA CHIPS AND CHEESE DIP. Won't eat one without the other. He is a little bit weird.

hahaa speaking of dog food I had an old horse who used to try and INHALE dog food....we would call the horses in from the pasture and he always passed the dog food bowl and I always had to literally drag him away...he also managed to grab the bag thru his stall one day and drag it in and eat it all!!! I was desperately worried but he was ok!!
