Freddie~2 1/2 months old!

I had the chance to get a few new pics of Freddie today and a computer to use, so here ya go!

Lookin for some lovins from momma-

He's molting early-

This one shows the pretty golden color he's turning into-

And finally he got tuckered out from all the posing and had to take a nap-

He's going to be a handsome boy when he gets out of that funky molting stage they go through.

Mine are there right now too.

Thank you! It definately is a funky stage they have to get through to get rid of the baby fuzzes but I think I would still take it over that gangly yearling stage.

Yeah, my yearling looks horrible right now. His head grew way faster than the rest of his body, his neck is too long and skinny and his legs forgot to grow to keep up with the rest of him. Poor guy. Who woulda thought he was such a nice looking weanling. Guess old Wiescamp was right if you like them at 3 months you'll like them at 3 years. Just don't look at them in between.

What a handsome boy.. and yes, Tanner is going through the molting funkies right now as well.. Just think of them as butterflys, who will be doubly gorgeous once they finish shedding out..

His momma is the chestnut, the paint is my old man Crow. He makes a very good babysitter.

Here is the original thread on his momma:

That is so true, what a wise man! I didn't take pictures of Cheyenne all winter long just because she looked so bad.

Good point, I'll have to keep telling myself that until he gets done.
