My little freebie...

Meet Dusty everyone.

I really don't know a lot about this little guy. He was given to us because his owners didn't want to deal with him anymore. He has a very loving disposition and wants to be in your back pocket all the time.

I think he is coming two this year, but as you can see, he is thin and in need of some groceries. Blaine wormed him last night, so I am hoping for a shiny coat in a few weeks. I think overall he's conformationally sound and will make someone (if not me) a really nice horse in a year or two. He's got a partially blue eye which kinda weirds me out.

I doubt he has papers. I am finding out more and more about the environment he was in, and I am soooo glad to have gotten him.

He's really cute. Are you sure he's coming two? He looks like a 2008 baby from the length of his tail and mane. He also looks like he has a yearling body. Congrats

I have a Catahoula Leopard dog that has half blue eyes, they call them "cracked glass" eyes...people always comment on how startling they look!

Cute little fellow, bet he'll be awesome with a little weight on him...good luck with your "freebie"!

I can't honestly say... I was just going off of what the people told me. To me he does seem younger. I looked at his teeth, and he hasn't lost any. They are still small and milky white colored.

He sure is cute....we have a paint mare that has 2 blue eyes and my husband was really weirded out by them at first, but now you couldn't seperate those 2, they are literally 2 peas in a pod. Good luck with him!!

I have to admit, when I first saw his picture, I though he was a yearling and I am no pro. He is cute though.

He is gorgeous. Congratulations. I had a paint mare with two blue eyes so I am quite partial to them. I thought he was a yearling as well.

My dad will be taking Dusty to see the Doc on Monday, and Dusty will be fully evaluated. I am hoping he is younger. That will give us an edge to get him back on track.

The more time I spend with him, the more I think he was socially deprived. He craves attention any way he can get it (even bad behavior). After he gets a clean bill of health, we are going to turn him out with Sunny, Holly, and Cisco and let him be a horse for a few months. After that we will start with his ground manners training.

I love blue eyes also. I'm usually not a big fan of tobiano's but he is just a doll.

I would have guessed a yearling without knowing anything about him too.
