I finally got to ride a long ear!!!! WoooHOOO!

I really liked him. He was a nice mule. Didn't really neck rein but would spin if you turned him.

Cool! Was he one of Cascy's? If not, where did you get to ride him? Did you get to put him through his paces? I only rode one mule before, but it was really neat, and also fun. I only walked and trotted though, and went over a couple tiny jumps !

Also, just curious, are there no stirrups on that saddle ?

That's a nice looking mule.
I hope to ride one some day too.
I think they have a lot of character.

I rode a 6 yr old foxtrotting mule one time.....and I loved it....well, it was 14 miles worth, he was broke by the time I got him home. He never missed a lick but he was wobbly....

Nope, not one of Cascy's. Yes, there are stirrups, but my feet are kinda covering them. I couldn't really reach them. I didn't get to do much because of the lack of stirrups and plus I was in the parking lot of the horse sale. No, he wasn't selling there, he is used to work the cattle. I told the guy that I was going to load him in my car when he wasn't looking!
