Friends and neighbors - a few pics

My friends and neighbors came for a visit today riding in their wagon that was being pulled by a nice pair
of big mules! My husband even got to ride with them for the trip. Here are a few pics.

We have a local guy that uses his mules on the farm, it is so cool to watch.
Those are beautiful mules, thanks for taking pics for us.

Thanks guys. I love to see them hitched up and moving too! This particular neighbor plows, mows, bales.. you name it, his mules do it. He helps us out by mowing a steep hill on a neighbors pasture that we use. It's too steep for a tractor but those mules don't give it a second thought! My husband is trying to learn how to do all that stuff too. I guess we'll have to buy mules at some point..lol.. Whats a few more??

What a nice pair of matched mules! And, it sounds like they're also well-trained...the perfect combination.
