Cow Hocked Mule
Rode a great mule today - although cow hocked in the hind and a bit splayed out in front - a nice ride - for sale...my concern is lameness with regular riding. Does any one have experience with this problem? Thanks!

It seems like cow hocks are pretty common in mules. Not sure I'd be worried about it. But it's always good to get a pre purchase vet check to ease any concerns about future soundness. Do you have any pics? just for fun!

Do you have any pictures?? It's hard to say with out, but if it's pretty severe I'd be quite wary

I would think a vet check would be able to rule out your concerns of lameness.
On a side note - I found REALLY nice looking, riding molly mule for sale in our area. Not sure if I'm allowed to post the ad here but you can PM me and I'll send you the info!!
