Equinenow has two for sale in GA. One is a Percheron and one looks like a QH mix but they don't say on the ad.

I'd sure be leery about the cheap one. He's 3 years old and ungelded. Most folks geld their mules as early as possible and they can be worse than a horse stud. What do you want to do with your mule? Do you want something young to train? Have you had mules before? There is a place called Sowhatchet Mule Farm in Madison Georgia, Is that anywhere near you?
ETA: here's the website www.sowhatchetmulefarminc.com

Yeah there are alot of nice looking mules on that site. Mules can sure be a wonderful ride sure footed with alot of personality. But if you haven't had a mule before I would sure recommend getting a nice broke mule from a reputable breeder who is willing to help you out with training. They are different than horses and because they are so smart they can be a real challenge to train, especially if you don't have experience with them. Mules can be great jumpers. have you ever seen the coon jump event at mule shows? they jump a mule from a STANDSTILL and you wouldn't believe how high they can jump. Personally, and it's just my opinion of course, I would steer clear of that ungelded mule. I don't care if he gelds it for you, anybody that would be stupid enough to leave a mule ungelded for that long I would be seriously wondering about their ability to give a good foundation in training. And a mule with a bad start could be your worst nightmare.

You know it's possible to have both. While they are not as common in GA as in KY there are gaited mules around. My farrier rides a spotted mule that has an awesome gait. I would caution you on getting a mule to train unless you are very experienced. Training a mule is a lot different than training a horse. I know a few horse trainers who won't even consider taking a mule because they take more time than horses. Ever heard the saying "Things you can tell a horse must be discussed with a mule"? It's pretty accurate as far as I can tell. I will say that a well trained mule is fun to ride, but ussually costs a bit more than a well trained horse.

ditto! A mule is a whole different ball game compared to a horse... A good mule, well there's nothing better, but a bad mule... Well there's nothing worse...
I heard an Old man say one time... A horse will kick, but a mule will aim.

Cascy, I have never heard this saying but with the few I've been around it's very true.

Also, thanks for the coffee in my nose.
