Sending files via PM?

Is there a way to attach a file to a PM? If so - could someone please tell me how?

If not - could that be changed? Or, is there a reason why we can't?

as in attaching a picture ?
or a word document?

I have sent pictures.
I dont know about "attaching" a file though

You can attach pictures just like you do in a post.

The only way to attach other kinds of files is to upload them to a host that supports that file type and ad the link to the file in your PM.
