Well I have been on for about 30 minutes and can you believe not one kick off. I am not going to say that toooo loud, and yes they never get back in touch when you expect them too.
Now for another little thing that I remembered. When newbies sign on and announce that they are members, No one formally welcomes them to the site and gives them the links for avatars. pictures, and rules of HT.

My mother always said I was a stickler for the little stuff, but you know that is what makes this site different from the rest.
Well so far. so goo, just let us hope it is fixed and we can pm the missing and tell them that. Keep fingers crossed. Jo

horselady - I don't think they've fixed it yet. It's supposed to go down at 2:00 pacific time, in another hour.

I think TDH and QuarterCowGirl are still doing the welcomes.

Mine too ... my tracerts bounce around forever inside comcast, hitting Chicago three times, then atlanta, dallas, and finally out to losangeles, then they die out there somewhere.

Tonight they are dying at e1-22.cr01.lax02.mzima.net, or 75.149.228.102

I'm about fed up. I've spent my time supporting Horstopia's ad revenue stream more than 3,000 times over the past 4 years. You'd think I could get an update.

The ads seem to work fine though. Guess it's a just a matter of priorities for a business that really only maintains this forum as an adjunct to the revenue producing stream of ads for the other part of Horsetopia. Not a criticism, just a fact of the business world. They have to put their tech resources where they do the most good for their business.

I realize that most of us spend most of our time on the forum and not the other part of Horsetopia but that should tell them that this is an important issue. Like most of you, I'm most frustrated with the apparent lack of any attempt to keep us informed as to whether they're actually doing anything about the problem. A sticky would do the job but we're not even getting that.

Again, I'm about fed up.
Well said..
I'm with Sean here..

I have wasted more time trying to post on this forum, and I end up just going elsewhere.
It would seem advantageous to keep the members you have by at least keeping them informed..

What I find odd (I find alot of things odd BTW) is certain threads or area's are worse. I went to comment about Alto the other day and got kicked off. Got back on and went to something else, no problem at all. It seems like the more complex the thread (pics, pages, comments) the quicker you get the "boot" I did last month's photo contest and it took me several days to even get it started. Then twice as long to put up the winners. I have no trouble in the morning around 6am. About 9pm when I come in from the barn I have trouble. More users online I think. During the day its very rare for me to be online. I'm too busy at work. Take a quick HT break and check PM's or post one or two things now and then but it does it there too. I just find something else to do like watch TV. My TV time has increased from around 2 hours a week to 2 hours a night in the last few months
On the going somewhere else and wasting time comments, you need to get away from the computer if it bugs you that bad

I haven't had any problems today, so I'm hoping it's fixed! Has anyone had issues today?

I'm glad I made it in here today and saw this thread. I honestly don't come on more than once a week anymore and then I'm lucky to get to post anything. I sure hope they fixed it, I miss HT.

I had problems early in the day, but I've been on about 45 minutes now and posted many times with no error message. It's like old times. Now, bring back the old timers and it will really feel like old times.

No problems this morning.

If the problems continue I would like to go somewhere else, but where would I go? I've joined other forums before and found the people rude and not nearly as supportive as the HT family so it would be a sad sad thing if this can't get resolved.

Old Bear, I always look forward to your posts, I admire and respect your wisdom. Please don't leave.

Sigh. Not fixed. Just got the "connection interrupted" page for the last 10 minutes.

I'm beginning to wonder, since some people have no problems, and some people (the same people) have loads of problems if it might have something to do with what part of the country we are in or what network we are on (which dictates which server we go through).
