be still my beating heart.....

First off......breath in threw the nose and out threw the mouth, repeat 18 million times .

As the kids are heading for the bus, Kenya says "Ackmeds out" . Huh???? I put him in the barn lastnight. Oh great so he somehow got out meaning all the dogs are out and have torn up the garbage . WRONG!!!!!!

With all the ins and outs yesterday when Andre was putting the odds and ends on the roof they may have forgotten to latch the gate . It was WIDE open as though a horse had pushed it. NOTHING was in the field except the water we got from Gustav lastnight . Of all times for the horses to be running lose

I look at both areas where we have the round bales (as, if they go anywhere it will be there ) nope nada nothing . Thought it strange that Rosario wasn't screaming cuz they're out and about. I trek out threw the lake (in my runners) to the back pasture and there they are, hanging in the thick bush away from the (insert smiley sigh of relief).

I'm pretty sure I know who the culprit is that opened it but all I can say is, THANK GOD HORSES ARE CREATURES OF HABIT. He's NOT the lead horse so no one followed him out so he went back

Man...when my horses get out...they stop about 3 feet from the gate...to eat the grass. They don't go very far!

I would have a heart attack if they got out for real!
