Zippy wants to be a jumper!

Oh my God Zippy is a jumper! I guess he got tired of Dixie's constant nagging and picking on him and leaped the fence. He did it was such ease too. Like it was effortless. Basically anything to get away from his mean, grouchy "baby momma". I was just standing there, Dixie gave him the usual back off jerk look and tried to kick him. I guess that was the last straw, Zip just leaped the fence! This was my look---> So I had a loose stallion on the property. Good thing Zippy isnt crazy or high spirited. He just settled down to grazing and I locked him up.

But holy smokes, thats a fairly tall fence for my short little 14.3h horse be leaping over.

Bad boy Zippy. Now I got to figure out what Im gonna do to fix that issue. Guess up goes a strand of hot wire. Poor Dixie is very upset at Zippy's leaving her. She's been hollering non stop now. Its her fault anyhow, she is so grouchy.

If you need a hand......I happen to LOVE jumpers HAHA

Funny though...in all my years of owning jumpers...I've had ONE jump out. It was my pony jumper when I was little...freshly transplanted to our ranch from a fancy jumper barn. Saw a sow for the first time and lept over the 4'+high hotwire fence with her winter blanket on...she was OUTTA there. She is 14.2 hands tall too

All my jumpers now stay inside a single strand of tape 3' off the ground though

That is what I told them. She is a horribly jealous girlfriend. Id hate to get on her bad side! If one of my other mares so much as look at him she makes him move farther away. Never seen anything like it.

Poor Zippy, being forced to leave home like that! I am sure my hubby wanted to jump the fence a few times while I was pregnant, too!

So, when are you planning on trying this again, under saddle this time? You're not just leaving it to him to have all the fun without you, are you ?

Well... Zip by no means is supposed to be an english type of horse. He doesnt even look the part. But I do like english.. well Zippy is only 4 and still in my eyes recovering from his fracture not too long ago. No jumping planned in our near future anyways.

Would be cute to see his little spotted booty going over some fences.
