She doesn't look like a raving lunatic to me.

That's hilarious! Love your pics...my TB is is a total headcase when she's in heat. I typically can't ride her during that time- she calls out and flirts with this Dutch Warmblood from over the arena fence. Her mind is only thinking about one thing...I'm guessing you know what that is. lol

Nice looking mare! What breed is she? She hardly looks like a fridge killer to me!!

As for the cinder blocks, I do the same thing with my older horses/donkey. I've never had a problem with it.....

Well I think you should be reported.........................that poor mare is obviously crying out for chocolate and red wine..........................well I try and kill the fridge if I run out of either at the critical time

She is beautiful. I would talk to the vet about her. Maybe have the vet do a recal exam to check her ovaries. If she is OK, you could place her on Regumate or have the vet place a marble in her to decrease this behavior. I haven't tried the marble thing, but there is some research indicating that this can be quite helpful. A lot cheaper that Regumate.

New evidence pictures for the non-believers, lol

The fridge in question

The stall door

And a few random holes in the plywood

She was a good girl for the last few days. Just picked on her kid a little bit tonite when I turned them out in the arena with their hay. she just pins her ears at him and he stays clear

It wasn't her fault, she had a mere moment of insanity brought about by the picture of another mare taped on the fridge. Add in the hormones and she lost it for a little while. So glad neither of our girls have that "raging heat"....I'd lose it.

Im just glad I waited to go out to the barn till AFTER the BF cleaned up the mess. I would have had a stroke

I used to deal with a pigpen every day when I had my sorrel overo yearling. He was out on a bunch of acerage, never stalled and kept breaking my fence by pusing on it, getting out and making a disaster out of the barn. He went back to the breeder. I couldnt deal with it. Him and I didnt click at all and he got on my nerves so bad, so I felt in all fairness to him, he needed to go. I was the one who had the news of the fridge given to me. Boy, you dont realize how much you miss something until its gone. I ended up getting another one a couple days later. Nothing worse than sweating to death doing barn work and having to walk all the way inside to get a drink
