Best Road Ride Ever...(Pic Heavy)

I just wanted to say...I had the BEST road ride ever lastnight!!! Wasn't too hot, wasn't too cold just perfect. It was about 1 1/2 hours long. My girlfriend and I took our boys out and they couldn't have been better behaved, in all we stepped on 5 tin cans, had a tin garbage can roll by us and had to plow through a few boxes...do you think they would even twitch an ear...Nope!! Thank goodness to, we went bareback and I haven't done that in about 2 years give or take. Oh, I'm just so happy.

I had leased Rex out to a family for a year and this is the first road ride I have taken him on since he got back...he's been back for about a 3 weeks or so. I'm so happy to have my trail buddy back!!! I mean as much as I love Charlie, I wouldn't be able to get him past the driveway. Anyways, just thought I would share, oh I didn't take any pictures of the ride but I'll post a couple of Rexy...(sorry some are black and white, I didn't realize I had the camera set to that when I was taking them .)

-Alicia

Sounds wonderful, glad you were able to get out with a friend, riding such sensible horses !

I used to live in Sherwood Park, and boarded horses out there too, before we moved further from town and got our own place

Rex is beautiful but it sounds like he has a beautiful mind, which really helps when you want to ride bareback down the road.Sounds like you had a fun ride.

Rex is a handsome boy, and the facility looks nice too.
Isn't it great when all comes together?
