What an amazingly stupid situation. That poor horse isn't hurting anyone and is not lilkely to live much longer...let him live out his days in his own home for crying out loud.

I sent the councilman an e-mail! That is just horrific to think they would even consider doing that!

This is what I don't understand....

Supposedly the ordinance has been in affect since 1988. My question is how long has Peter Rabbit been there?

If it has only been a few months then yes, perhaps they may have a leg to stand on, but if he has been there much longer to me it is an acceptance. To inforce the rule now, to me only shows there greed for the land and its usuage.

Sickens me when things like this happen, shows how inhuman folks can be sometimes.

In the town that I lived in around San Francisco when the ordinance was passed about no livestock they even grandfathered in all livestock that was already there. I think something like that should be done in a town of 1500.

Article says horse is 32 years old, so he has been there longer than the ordinance has been in effect. Let the poor old horse stay til he dies for pity sake.

Ohh, I'll e-mail those people. (They have taken down the contacts section of their homepage...cowards.)

That is horrible. That poor horse. He deserves to be there.

They have been fighting it for 2 years now. The council will not grandfather Peter Rabbit in. He has been in the news all over here again. It's not fair not to grandfather him in.

Poor Peter Rabbit. How could these narrow minded idiots do that since the horse has been there for 32 years.
Going to e-mail my 2 cents
