Monday Parable #5 - risking getting close

This has been a week that I have had to ask many for help - risking getting close does have value

****************

It was a HOT fly bitting day outside. The critters all gathered under the trees or into any patch of shade that shadowed off of buildings.

The horses stood under the big oak tree, lined up head to tail to head to tail to head to tail.

This was not something the wise farmer (that's me ) had taught them.

In fact, the wise farmer thought this was NOT a wise way to stand. Each horse had their heads back in the area where the other horse would....now really did you think that was what I was going to say ...the horses had their heads where the other horses could easily kick them Even Dely, the young filly, had her head facing the boss mare's tail end (a dangerous place for sure).

However, as the wise farmer (that's me ) watched the horses, the farmer realized they all were using their tails to swish flys from the others faces.

And sooooo the wise farmer became a little wiser that day.

Moral: The GREAT FARMER wants us to know that sometimes if we would risk getting close to each other, even though we could get badly hurt in doing so, that we might just have less "bugging" us too.

Perfect, I know many people that are afraid to get close to anyone. May I save this, and send it to people when needed?

Bless you, I so look forward to mondays now.

Everyone is welcome to print these and share them as needed....

Even if you want to put them together as a booklet to sell for "non-profit" causes, that is fine with me (4-H fund raisers...horse rescue fund raisers, etc....)

Also a "spiritual payment" for the use of them would delight the wise farmer (that's me ) and the critters like.....

1) Donations to your favorite group in honor of one of the critters mentioned would be cool too

2) Taking in a special critter to love would be a real honor to these critters that had to suffer through training the wise farmer (that's me ) - Like Devine's story of Bellie and Frier Tuck or like what Cameo and Mymaxx did for Zach....those kind of stories are the best payment for me (and my long suffering critters too )

3) helping a special needs kid

4) Best of all though would be to know a person in need heard the words of the Great Farmer to brighten their pastures on earth and then in heaven

Sooooo please save them, print them, copy and email them and share them with others
