Finally officially on his record!

YAY!

I've had Socks for 3 years now and haven't done much with him. We had a little injury that knocked him out of usefulness for a good half a year and then, I was scared to ride him.

Anywho, on his performance record is his two little lifetime halter points from when he was showed as a baby with his breeder. So, my name has been on his papers as his owner but nothing else. There's no Paint shows or trail rides out my way really so I'm kind of SOL in that sense. I have only showed him once and it wasn't that great.

Sooooo, I signed up for Ride America and did the logs online and finally, my name is listed (albeit not for a lot of time) under his performance records! It's a silly YAY but one nonetheless. I hope to do PAC or something like that next year when I attempt to show again. Hopefully, we can compete and do well enough to get some points in the dressage portion of PAC. I had a good ride today although the deer flies tried to pick him up and carry him away to feed their young!

We basically ran through the woods and did some ringwork at home where there aren't blood sucking ginormous flies to irritate us.

Yep, next year (I am so sick of saying that) is when I plan on dusting off the dressage jacket and boots. He has the talent and he's got flashy little legs to show off. Hopefully, I won't be in Intro Level with him.

I'd like to at least be in Training level this time.........
