Monday Parable #3 Star Flowers - Pics of Star and filly added

I had 2 parables written, but the wise farmer's friend said to tell this one (hope that was not hint

).

Star was a young mini that loved to be with people and in her own special way loved to "help" with things.

One hot day, the wise farmer (that's me

) was cleaning the minis' pen. Star would stand by the farmer. As the wise farmer was raking a less than desirable pile that was left by a horse, Star would even try to help. She would vigorously kick and paw at it to help clear it out of the pen. Then Star would lead the farmer to another pile. She would look at the wise farmer as if to say "clean this one too." It made the wise farmer's job easier to have her help with the chore.

Day after day, the wise farmer (that's me

) and Star would work together to clean up the less than desirable things in the pen.

One day, the wise farmer came into the pen and Star trotted toward the fence. She pranced and danced with great joy and delight as she lead the wise farmer to the special place. There, where the wise farmer had been putting the less than desirable things from the pen, grew a small plant that was covered in beautiful sweet smelling flowers. Star and the wise farmer (that's me

) both sat in the clean pen enjoying the flowers, soaking in the fragrant sweetness and the gentle beauty. The wise farmer called the flowers "Star Flowers"

Moral: Often, there are less than desirable things in and around us. If we help the GREAT FARMER to clean them up, one day we will find that all the less than desirable things will be removed; and, even better yet, that there in their place will be a sweet fragrance and gentle beauty that we can sit and enjoy with the GREAT FARMER.

I just found out that Star had her first foal today

A black and white filly. WoooHooo...

Star was sold to a great mini breeder (and friend) when I thought I was dying. My little Miracle is the sire of the foal.

Must have had Star Flowers on my mind - and now a new gentle beauty for Star

The critters we love stay in our hearts forever...and multiply the miracles in our lives too....WooooHoooo
