Whiskey and The Chicken

A black and white striped chicken found its way to the barn where Whiskey lives. I noticed that the chicken really likes Whiskey. She is always following Whiskey around, and will stand under Whiskey while I groom him. The weather has been so nice here, that I decided to turn Whiskey out in his pen. When I arrived at the barn yesterday afternoon to feed him, I could see white stuff on his back. Upon further inspection I realized it was chicken poop.

The chicken must have been sitting on Whiskey and just chilling. I hope to get pictures today. For those of you who have chickens this might be usual, but the closest I have gotten to a chicken is in my kitchen.

Update--the chicken's owner came for her today. It seems that the other chickens were beating up Ms. Z (my name for her) and she flew the coop. If the other chickens continue to pick on Ms. Z her owner will let her live with Whiskey---greaaat another mouth to feed. Anyway, if and when she returns I will get pics. I would have sworn that Whiskey was looking for Ms. Z when I turned him out tonight.
