I am shocked to learn she was only 3 years old. The worst is to see the sadness in her eyes... she knew nobody cared or loved and treasured her. Bless you for coming to her rescue. My friend has a cross like her... he calls that breeding an "Azteca." His horse has a personality to die for.... she is sweet, kind, and only wants to please. THANK YOU for sharing your photo's. Blessings to all who save these innocents.

You have done an excellent job with her. A little bit more weight and she will look fantastic. Keep it up!

My keyboard is soggy. I can't believe the transformation. It's just marvelous, but so sad to think about what would have been had your paths not crossed.

How did you meet her? What did you see in her that made you feel she could come home home with you for a fresh start? Do these jackasses have other horses still in their possession?

Sometimes that one horse just shouts out take me home, perhaps more people should do this if they could . this mare is a perfect example of a complete turnaround.
