I absolutely love big, tank built, bay roans. They are my absolute favorite color, build and I could look at them forever. I was offered what used to be my dream horse today at a pretty decent price. A Two ID Bartender, built like a tank, bay roan, mare!
I can only use one horse, only want to pay board on one horse and I have a paint!

I bought Shunke this summer. He was a very green 9yr old gelding that I should have sold after a very dangerous trailer episode. But he didn't get put up for sale as I wasn't finding anything I wanted to replace him with so I kept riding him, working with him on trailering and of course, all this time we are spending together we are bonding
My vent...
Why did this mare not come along when I was looking this summer? Before I became so attached to my Shunke? To buy her now would mean selling Shunke. So I have now come to realize that my dream horse is a sorrel tobiano gelding, who has left a very large hoof print on my heart and the life time of wanting a bay roan just a fading memory.
Funny how the big ol paint with the soft brown eyes turned a life long dream of owning a beautiful bay roan into a living dream of having found the most wonderful riding partner in a Sorrel Tobiano!
Guess my vent is not really a vent at all. Just a new love story with a different ending.
