glue on or nail on shoes

well I guess I am going to have to shoe myboy he is very ouchey in the front and I have tried using turpentine and it worked for a while. I was woundering what your thoughts are on glue on versus nail on shoes. any help would be great..

It would all depend on the condition of your horses hooves and the conditions in your horse's environment. Glue ons are mostly used on a basis of need verses preference.

So, it would be merely a decision you and your farrier will need to agree on depending on conditions and preference.

leadmare's right. It depends on the horse. Glue on shoes from my experience are more expensive and more hassle than the nail ons. If it were my horse and there was strong hoof wall to nail to, I'd try nail ons first.
