Good Book

What is a good book to learn about hooves. It has to have plenty of pictures as I learn visually.

for example

if the book is talking about underrun heels, it should have, at least, a picture of an underrun hoof(with explination), and a picture of a normal hoof(with explination)

DoBe...most of these cover natural trimming but, they have alot of information, pictures and descriptions that are wonderful learning guides. Pete Ramey's book would probably be your best overall I think.

One that I like is "The Natural Horse" by Jaime Jackson

Deals with studying the mustangs hooves.

I don't know how good it is, but I've been very curious about, "Making Natural Hoof Care Work For You", by Pete Ramey. He's the farrier that Clinton Anderson uses and advocates for on his shows, etc. It's cost is $28.95.
Also, he has a couple DVDs out on hoof care. Good Luck, and let me know if you get it..., Redboy

Well Shod...can't remember the author right now. Pretty much a textbook for farriery and covers the basics really well.
