I'm so excited!

My daughter is 15 & is horse crazy. She's taken lessons for years and gives beginner lessons at the barn she rides at. She's always wanted to be an equine vet. Our farrier takes some kids on as apprentices (and pays them for their work) to see if it's something they'd like to do. She went on her first trip & had a blast. You can tell our farrier loves teaching. She came home looking like she had been hit by a truck but with a smile on her face.
I just love seeing her so excited about learning something she's so passionate about! I want to be her when I grow up! LOL

That is a great opportunity. My farrier took me along with him on almost all of his calls one summer when I was about 15. It was a wonderful learning experience. I got to meet a lot of other horse people in the area and learn alot more about different types of feet and what shoes were needed for what horse and what they corrected. Congrats to your daughter!
