Question

My 2 yr. old needs his feet trimmed and I was wondering if anyone has ever used any calmers to help their horse while getting their feet done? Danny, my gelding, isn't very fond of his feet being held up for long periods of time and he needs his feet done and I was wondering if I could use anything to help the farrier. Thank you in advance.

I would use a little Ace...if that does not work a Dorm/ Torm combo will do the trick.

I've seen a few people get hurt from horses on ace. [including myslef]
I would talk to your vet.
If that is not an option - you could work him untill he is pretty tired - I have one that was a little impatient when he was 2-3, it worked like a charm.
