You could almost SEE his relief afterwards!

Dallas is NOT my farrier's favorite horse b/c Dallas LOVES velcro and is forever reaching around and ripping off the farrier's chaps!!! He HATES it when Dallas does this but after last night I told Mr. Farrier that Dallas was given several free passes to strip him of his chaps as punishment for that hot nail. Farrier just glared at me.

BO sent me an email this morning that already he's moving around MUCH better! WOOT! I soooo needed this good news!

great news--yes usually when the abcess is opened its instant relief for the horse.............

My vet told me an absess will follow the white line and can travel around the hoof following a path of least resistance as well as blow out the top.
