What Polish??

Hi everybody, i am entered into a parade this weekend, and the CHSA, requires to have their feet polished, either black or clear. But.. what color would i do my horse? he is a solid chestnut TB, but on his front right, he has a little bit of white, should i just paint them all black, or all clear?? We get judged and everything for the parade, and we have a chance at winning $150!! and its going to be really fun. please let me know what you think, thanks

For a parade, the flashier the better. Check out the hoof polish with glitter in it. Otherwise I would go with black and well shined all the way around. Shined so you can see your reflection in it.

thanks, i figured i would use black, it makes Booger just stand out like crazy!! and the group of riders are themed from the wizard of oz, and im being dorothy, so maybe some red glitter?? hehe, im having to much fun with this!!

The other horses include a chestnut gelding, but he has 4 white socks, would you do clear on him?? his rider is being the scarecrow.

Then we have a gray arab, so hers would be black right?? and her rider is being GLinda the good with, so maybe some silver glitter??

to much fun!!

I once saw a horse with his hooves done to look like chrome. The polish was very bright and shiny, and very silvery. But not like silver paint - it actually looked like mirror polished chrome!

I thought it was neat.

The red does sound cute. I don't polish my horses feet because I do gaming so there's no need. But I always thought it was white hoof = clear polish and dark hoof = black polish????
