How does one know what size boot to get their horse?
How do you measure the foot?
If you have a pasture horse, how long should the boot stay on the horse to allow something like an abscess or a stone bruise heal??

I have never had to use one but my friend makes hers out of duct tape ... Bet you could google it and find out.

It tells you everything about the Davis Boot. I love it. I used it for 3 months when my Appy had an abcess. First I soaked the hoof in it(my horse is funny about his feet) and then I put the ichthamol paste on the hoof and put the boot back on til the next soaking. It worked great. Way less work than the duck tape, imo.
