Anyone know anything about EVA?

I was looking on the internet at some ads for horses at stud (just because) and noticed some breeders are advertising their stallions as EVA negative. What is this, how do you know if your horse has been exposed and what can you do about it, if anything?

My stallion is EVA tested Neg and vacinated. The link about is quite informative. Stallions are the only true carriers mares and geldings will shed the virous but it can and will cause miscarages in mares. It is like anything ealse something that responsible breeders do even though there may be nothing to really worry about.
