Questions

Someone posted last week about Diamotaceous Earth.

Sounded like something worth checking out. There is a pool grade and a food grade, the latter obviously being the one to feed to animals/humans.

One web site that sells it states:
NEVER feed any other type of DIATOMACEOUS EARTH to any animal, other than the Food Grade fresh water DIATOMACEOUS EARTH by Perma-Guard.

I found DE at a local farm. It is called DIAFIL, states it is Food Grade, however, doesn't mention fresh water, and the label is unreadable. It does read "amorphous". The farm employee didn't know anything about it.

My questions to those that use DE are: Do you think the farm product would be safe to use even though it doesn't specify fresh water on the front of the bag? Would you mind looking at your product bag and tell me what the front reads?

I'd greatly appreciate it.
