Loose skin

My new mare has this loose skin between her front legs. I don't believe she has had much of any kind of care in the last couple months and it almost looks like she had some kind of swelling that was left untreated and it stretched the skin. There are several small spots where it looks like she could have gotten into something and it's healed now. It doesn't seem to bother her it just looks funny. I've been putting this tightener on it that's made for leg swellings and bowed tendons, etc and it's helped a small amount. The only thing I can think of to get ride of it is to have the vet cut out the loose parts and sew her back up. Any other suggestions?

It was possibly a hematoma or abscess from a kick if so it will heal .Could be pigon fever depending on the part of the country you at. Loose skin will tigthen on it on just look at Jared of Subway. If it does'nt hurt her then give it some time.
