Info on Amber Grains feed and feed options

A local store recently started carrying Amber Grains feeds. My boy will be coming home from the trainer's in May -- so I'm researching horse feeds -- AGAIN.

I've fed local Country Acres and also Purina Strategy. I (and he) liked both. My horse is an easy keeper, 3yo paint gelding. He'll be in moderate work when he gets home.

I am interested in learning more about Amber Grains feeds...

He'll also be getting plenty of hay and some pasture time. I'm thinking of adding a vit/mineral supplement because I don't think he'll need the recommended amount to keep weight maintained.

Suggestions?
