Not sure exactly where to post this, but like all things with horses, there is always something new to learn!
Apparently, it contains an amino acid, GABA, which affects neurotransmission. I saw it in an article in Gaitpost, where a hunter/jumper trainer spoke out against drug use, and mentioned this product, which is a calming substance-and is also banned by USEF
I Just hope it's use is not related to our Olympic dressage rider not able to get the horse to enter the ring!
I hope posting this does not get taken in thew wrong context, as drug abuse happens in all disciplines, but having a horse at that level not even getting into the ring , looks very bad (embarassing! )
Great horses are born, not made, we only put on the refinement[/IMG]
