You have to remember thoug that this is a wound that was kind of left to fend for itself on and off for 3 years. I think I am working with a totaly different situation than you. If it were fresh I bet it would heal faster. Just my opinion and thoughts though. I am pretty happy with the progress as it is healing pretty uniformed.

It is looking so much better. Keep up the good work and eventually it will heal. I am a great fan of the Underwoods -- used it when my then yearling sliced open his chest. It healed beautifully and all I did was spray on the Underwoods 2 -3 times/day, throw on the baking powder and leave it. You can't even tell where he was cut.
Keep us updated.

WOW

That is all i can say.It does look great!Keep up the great work and i agree i wouldn'thave been able to leave the scabby thing alone either.
I have had to help w/ 2 accidents involving the metal barn and 2 different horrses getting hurt.We have doctored both and they are doing well.! was this last winter of course, frozen fingers and all we got it done 4 times a week. And of course it had to happen again w/ another horse. But this time on the other foot at least. It had also happened to my cousins other horse,i think she has been cursed. But this should do it as she has no other horses and isn't planning on getting anymore right away.
