Riding pen/areana is finished

Riding pen/areana is finished
Almost LOL still need the gates put up but it is ridable now!!!

It is not as big as it looks LOL it is only 60X60 square but big enough to get some work done in within a controlled space... I disked it down about 6 inches and now I get to work on getting it level....

Lazy and Sassy thought they would give us a hand today

Tryin to push the tractor and disk around LOL

I always seem to end up with more pics of Sassy then anybody or thing else LOL I took 44 pictures and 16 were of her 7 of Lazy and the rest of the "areana"

here she is supervising Mike and T

These are just some random ones I took of her she is a HAM!!

I have to give T credit of the 22 poles he dug them all but the corners and ONE other one... I am very very proud of him AND as soon as all the top rails were up he got on Lazy and couldnt' wait to ride in it LOL

Now my delima what is the best way to get it LEVEL?? The disk did alot of it but what now??

Make sure you get a 'drag' or something to keep it from rutting on you. A piece of chain link pulled behind an ATC works great. As far as leveling, well, either pull from the high end to the low end or bring in a load of fill.

Happy Riding !!

My son is already figuring out how to do this LOL ... says he will get a job and pay for it so we don't have to recondition every spring LOL

I have been disking from the high to low areas and that has done a decent job ... I have a tractor so drag is no biggie LOL just have a couple of spots I can't get filled it seems I guess I will have to learn to work the slip scoop next LOL
