Plans for Zaira? Heavens, you people are way ahead of me. I am planning on getting her home on either Sat. or Sun. She'll probably wind up a trail horse altho hope to put some good saddle fundamentals on her before the snow flies. I'd had a wonderful Arabian gelding that I used for kid's lessons and sold him at 23. Kids love the Arabs as they fulfill the dreams of little girls and are so kind and gentle and not too big. But that's further down the road.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. And a special thankyou to Scrapchick for the name. I'm one of those who likes to have an animal for a while before I name it so I'm surprised that Zaira clicked for her. I shall try to post a few more pics once I get "her tubbiness" home.

Zaira is home. Not good about loading but finally, then things got a little exciting until we got rolling. She's certainly a lady when she backs out. She's alone in the paddock and probably will be for the night. The boys can only come within 75' and are displaying uncertainty. They've moved farther away and she's been pacing and calling and eating.
