Napa

Go to your local NAPA store. I got mine there for like 99 dollars. Don't bother with ebay, you are not going to find a better deal there. We have the NAPA ones on all our hauling trucks (3) and they work well. Also install them on customers vehicles. We run an auto repair business.

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything off ebay in regards to my horses safety. I have the adjustable brake box in my truck for my trailer. Got it installed at our local trailer place.

Our trailer place offers both brands of the box I posted for about $25 more... so that is not what I am worried about ... the crazy trailer place ONLY one in my area always tries to sell the most expensive model... installing it isn't my problem my brother is a mechinic and will do that for me

I have joined a "Trailer Forum" for that very purpose...finding components and info for our new trailer.

Electric brake control was a "biggie".

The Tekonsha Prodigy was most highly recommended !! Especially the new model called "P3".

I bought it off of ebay (recommended seller) and it arrived new/safe/FAST !! Wonderful transaction. Works great, too, we brought home our new trailer with it and you could feel it "braking". Has great upgrades on it over other electric brakes.

Here is a link to the auction / seller I got it from

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123

I saw the same exact one at a local dealer for $179 plus tax...oy!

This is the best!!!! We bought one before the horses came along and used it for our 31 ft Airstream (Bumper Pull) after much research from lots of folks this one always came up. With 31 ft behind me I for sure wanted it to work.
We now use it with our horse trailer and it is great!!!!!! We also bought ours new off of EBay no problems and saved about $40 bucks.

Tekonsha's are good. THat is what we ran in our truck before we bought our newer Ford's which have a built in brake controller.
