Fly Phobia

My sweet mare has an absolute phobia of flies

Granted I don't like them either but if a horse fly gets anywhere near her she goes crazy. I have tried Endure fly spray but I think the flies just drink it like it's a glass of tea

Any suggestions of other sprays or ideas??

Endure works great for me. I add Avon SSS and Citronello Oil and no problems.

My gelding hates bugs and the Endure works well !!!!!

Maybe consider a fly mask / sheet for her.

I have a head to toe fly getup for Rocket, because he has a phobia and a severe fly allergy. For $80 I got a Weatherbeata fly sheet with a neck cover, fly mask and fly booties.

Otherwise, I use Pyranha fly spray. It's really nasty and greasy, but it sticks.

LOL people call Rocket the maked crusader, but his hives have gone down, his face is no longer raw and a fly cannot touch his body.

I like Gordon's horse and pony spray. I buy it at Tractor Supply. It is an oil base and kinda messy but the flys hate it. It also has a sunscreen in it!
