What's everyone's favorite breed (if you have a favorite)

I'm just curious to know which breeds people prefer and why (based on real info. not prejudice). It's just kind of interesting.

I really love all horses but if I had to pick favorites I'd say Thououghbred, Arabian, American Saddlebred, or an Appaloosa (especially leopards). But like I said I love them all-regardless of breed or color. Honestly, horses are just beautiful animals! Even the so called rough and "ugly" ones.

I like the appys to my favorite and the quarters just depends on what you are looking for.

and somewhat tbs....

but all in all...a breed is a breed, so it all depends on the horse himself.....so I like everything

Frisians, Clyds, Shire, Appy's, QH's, Thoroughbreds, crap! I can't remember them all! lol

actually I love all horses=) However I love to ride TWH's,Pasos and a good smooth quarter horse.
The horses that I find the most beautiful?? A good muscled qh, Andulasian (sp), Gypsy Vanner, Fresian!!! You know the fairy tale type!!

My favorite horse is a good one. Doesn't really matter the color or breed just has to have a good mind and good confirmation. But if I were picking based on breed it would be a Quarter horse, I love them.

Saddlebreds of course!

Think Fjords are very nice horses with great dispositions as well and who doesn't love a Clydesdale?

My favorite "breed' is a "Fat" Horse

Love them all, but if they have spots I tend to be drawn to them as well. And soft eyes.... and a nice tush.... Oh heck-- just a HORSE... LOL

I have 2 favorite breeds..
1- TWH they have such great personalities and are super smooth
2- miniature horses They are just like a clown and each has its own personality most of mine are the in your pocket type too and just love people.

I suppose the correct answer would be, I would choose a horse for it's personality, not a breed, but of course I've got favourites:

I've just bought a Haflinger, but also love Quarter Horses, Andalucians, Arabians, although I I'm not sure I'd actually want to own either of the last two, well maybe if I could just have them in the paddock and watch them play

Spotted Saddle Horses and Tennessee Walkers.

I love their smooth gaits and their personalities are wonderful. We board with a whole mess of them and I can't get enough of any of them. Each is uniquely different.

I love the look of Paints and some other breeds, but Haffies are my all around favorite.

My favorite Breed is the American Quarter Horse. I have had a paso, arabian, appy, TB, and have shown a walker. But I love my quarter horses. They are so versitile in every aspect. I wouldn't trade them for the world. The only onther breed I would ever concider after owning quarter horses is a paint (cuz they are basically the same thing and most go back to the same lines).
