Yoga for Equestrians

I just checked a book out called "Yoga for Equestrians" At the same time a trainer friend of ours is looking to add some new ideas at her facility. I thought maybe a class in that might be interesting. I'm just curious, if something like that were available in your area would it be something you would be interested in trying?

I have heard of it - but I really can not see Peppy sitting on a mat, with his legs crossed, repeating a mantra, unless it is "grain"....

Our barn is hosting it's initial class on Sunday morning at 9am. I am quite excited as I know X-Ray would love to just stand and do nothing for 2 hours while I roll around on his back. It probably does help, though, that our trainer used to teach yoga, so she has tailored some of the poses for horseback.

I will let you know how it goes.
