check out AMHA and AMHR to see... I believe that info is on their websites.

and here's a nicely-written blurb about them:

Very Expensive!! If the mini is AMHR registerable it will cost you $500.00, plus membership fees, however, you can go with WCMHR which is alot cheaper $10-$20 BUT most people don't like WCMHR because you can register anything as long as it meets the height requirements and you do not have to know anything about the horses ancestory. AMHA is about the same as AMHR. I raise minis too and I have gotten all of this info off of the registration forms for all three registry's that I have.

HOLD THE PHONE

depends on "what all papers to register""they got

MINIS don't get full registration papers for several years untill they mature, and temporary papers are issued.

what papers y'all got there??

Yep. Temp to perm. AMHR and AMHA won't issue permanent registry papers until the miniature is 3 years old. They figure no more height will be gained after that time.
