Kids and Horses

Took some pics of my kids playing with the horses last night.

Kendra's Brag Book

Lane, 5 with Bar SN Cash Assets

Evanne, 18 with her barrel horse, Cash

Lane learning to jump (that's me being the ground crew )

Evanne on my 2 year old paint, Blue Eyed N Awesome (his eyes are blue not red )

Evanne and her 4 year old TB, The Quiet Man (Dollar)

Evanne goofing around on Cash

The outside of a horse is good for the inside of a child!

As you no doubt know, you have the most wonderful life. I wish more kids could grow up in a family like yours

sigh! I used to be able to jump without a saddle but now " the ole gray mare just ain't what she used to be......." Man do miss those fearless days when I used to "bounce" when I fell off!

Great pics! You should be proud.

I'm surprised you would let Lane get that close to a mean horse like Cash...

Great Pics.

All kids should grow up around horses and dogs.

Great Pics! I love to see kids enjoying horses! Keeping 'em involved with horses tends to keep 'em outta other things later on!

Believe it or not when we bought him 4 years ago he dumped my daughter everyday for the first month (either that or he ran her into the gate)

Our blacksmith knew him before and says if he didn't know it was the same horse he wouldn't believe it.

He wasn't gelded until he was 7 years old and was still only very green broke when we got him as an 8 year old. We could sell him a million times over but he takes such good care of my kids that he will grow to be a very old man with us.

When Lane (he's 5) was riding him he looked at me and said " Mom, Go sit down 'cause I'm going to have to retrain Cash ~ Evanne (his sister) is just wrecking him"

I LMAO!!!!

BTW ~ The TB is off the track and the 2 year old paint came from the stockyards!! (you just never know where you will find those diamonds )
