My Dream- WOW! Cascy, you bring up a good post. I don't know that I have a dream horse or horse color, or even breed for that matter. But my dream is this:

One day, I want a large piece of property( like the 40-80 acres that surrounds our 2 acre acerage). I want to have a training barn. I don't want to board horses, but I want to train, and give lessons. My main goal would be to compete in Reining. MY ultimate dream would be to compete in freestyle reining. I want to teach whatever horse I get some dressage moves to stick in there too, and do a really cool routine to music. I can see in my head the exact thing i want to do. I just have to be able to do it. Then have a barn full of reining horses, and breed the best of them. This is my dream!!

I hope no one takes offense at me saying this but ... I HAVE my dream horse. He is not perfect, he doesn't have a fancy pedigree, and he doesn't bring home ribbons, but he's the one for me! I will move heaven and earth to keep my boy till the end of his days. I know we have a lot to learn together still, but I'm SO enjoying the ride!

My dream horse

17hh or bigger Irish Hunter. Dapple Grey. BUT to be honest, any horse that has a big heart and soul that'll go high and far in Eventing with me. Big, big hearted, fearless, will jump anything you point them at, forward, etc, etc. The bigger, the better for me.

My dream horse is a big quarter horse, app, or paint. It has to be BIG, like 17 hh. The horse would be trained in everything. I mean, that horse could do EVERYTHING. Barrels, Poles, HUS, Hunter/Jumper, WP, Reining, Cutting, Team penning, etc. I love to compete, I don't ever win, but I just love the attention So a horse that could do everything would be perfect so I could compete all day, every day. Of course, this horse would have to be a great companion with excellent manners as I love to mess with my horses (give 'em kisses, annoy them, etc.). Heck, and why not a second horse of some gaited breed so I can do lightshod classes. The color doesn't really matter, although I have been a fan of black leopards, fleabitten grey, and palimino or roaned paints.

Now, I have to mention my dream carrer. I want to have a huge breeding program (don't know what breed) plus training at my 50 + stall barn, 2 huge arenas (1 in and 1 out), 2 roundpens (1 in & 1 out), about 500 acres with all the equipment to manage it. Now, I will be the vet of the barn, so I will do all my own breeding (to save money lol ) But I will have to have some kind of staff, and a really nice trainer. So, which leads me to my dream husband... He better have a passion for horses, own about 500 acres and have lots of money hehe.... j/k on the last 2 parts
